I like it. Sorry it's not a little longer, but otherwise a helluva lot funnier and better animated than the "this is my first cartoon"s that pass through the portal.

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yea it's short but I made this as a practice animation for a bigger cartoon I'm workin on. It was kicking my but so I decided to do a few simpler projects to help me get the hang of things.
You parodied a parody song, dude. Did you think you could do better?
"Jack Sparrow" wasn't a parody song. How many bears have you been shagging lately?
I really liked your glow effects, and the animation was REALLY smooth, given this is your first time to flash. I think if your art improved a little, you'd be a hell of a contender. Also, I would recommend darkening the backgrounds, as your glow effects would be even stronger.
Really, there's a lot going for you here. I'll be watching your development with interest.
Wow, thanks for the comment and encouragement! I'll keep working on my art and fingers crossed the next one will be even better. :)
Pretty sure that's not the first time I've seen that. What is it with Japanese schoolgirls and those highspeed trains?
what's with the symbology of trains going into tunnels?
Wow. I loved this. Too bad about the collaboration. And the music was awesome, so that will be my next stop.
Super glad you enjoyed it. Yeah it did kinda suck about that collab. It had a pretty inspiring theme... but oh well, what can you do?
Yeah you should def check out Slug-Salt's tunes. He is fucking awesome!
This isn't the place for this. If you don't understand something, don't do it.
That said, this doesn't have much merit, dude. You didn't clean up the sketchlines, the hands are kindergartener-drawing clubs, and his face is ridiculously lopsided. Also, his head's too big, his arms are too long, and his torso is too short.
Oh, and don't START by drawing anime. All the little stylistic shit isn't supposed to be a crutch. I mean, I did the same thing when I was younger, but don't get better until you actually learn to draw without them.
This drawing was experimental. Normally, I don't draw anime cause it takes too long to draw one person. My characters are all currently being drawn in semi-chibi-somewhat-anime style or something close to that.
I have no idea what this is about. But it's adorable and the art-style and music work for me.
Glad you liked, despite the confusion! This sounds like the perfect opportunity to plug the Introduction of an Ostrich video hidden away in my movie list thing - confusion-be-gone! http://dewington.newgrounds.com/movies/
The animation was great and I like the set-up, but there weren't really any... jokes, per ce. Just funny situations. And smarminess, which isn't really ha-ha funny.
Anyway, all things considered, I like this, and there aren't enough sci-fi comedies out there.
Glad you liked it but more importantly thanks for the feedback and well observed.
Since making the pilot and our series of shorts (coming soon) we're evaluating how to move forward and what type of "comedy" is our strengths and if we're missing a trick anywhere along the way.
Look forward to hearing what you think of the shorts when they're released.
